I bought the digitally remastered version of this a couple of years ago, and
the filme looked fine, but the sound track was appalling (says 5.1 on the
case), with hiss building up louder and louder in very quiet scenes.
There is apparantly a 60th anniversary edition available, so is the sound on
this any better, and therefore worth the money?
Hope it is as it's a top Christmas film, and I'd love to see it without the
distarcing hiss.
