I've been asked to edit some DVD video that's been recorded using a Sony
domestic DVD-recorder and the source isn't available anymore (camcorder
tapes that have been re-used) I have access to a machine with Vegas but
it won't import the disk, I've copied the video from the machine and
tried renaming the VOB files as .Mpg but Vegas only displays the first
30 seconds (there's 90 minutes of it, directly dubbed from a DV
camcorder). What conversions do I need to perform on these files to
allow me to edit them?
