I don't know anything about your device but obviously you should start with
Samsung. It may be possible to upgrade it's B.I.O.S.
Make sure the discs your trying to use are compatible.
Not sure what they are calling finalization. If it's just closing the disc a
half an hour is ridiculous. If it's encoding a DVD this takes ~20 minutes
with a P4-2.4GHZ. With a slower CPU it would be longer. Then the time to
actually burn the disc. I'd try waiting 4 hours just to be sure. Really
can't imagine it taking more than 2 though Maybe someone will give specific
advice.
