Filescapes.com, a file download portal for various types of files that
can be downloaded off the Internet, has resently been launched.
The portal includes categories for music, video, software and image
files and has been designed for users that want to distribute demo
files or freeware online.
Filescapes relies on its advertisers to upload and maintain content and
listings. Advertisers can also list their websites, which contain
downloadable content, for free or choose to advertise it at an optional
fixed daily rate.
For file uploads, a small storage fee is charged per MByte to cover the
cost of the webserver used. Initially file uploads will be restricted
to 4 MBytes each.
Downloads are free.
