It isn't. In my original reply, I said "The only feature the TwinPact100
has that the ADVC-300 doesn't is the ability to do VGA-to-analog/ DV scan
conversion (i.e. from a computer). If that's important, then go for it.
Otherwise, the ADVC-300 is a much better tool for your needs."
According to B&H, the ADVC 300 is $100 cheaper than the TwinPact100.
