Have you ever done this before on this player? Does your player claim
this ability?

Does he have the exact same make and model as you? I have 3 DVD players
and not one of them will play a CD with jpeg images. Could be that your
friend's player has special features. That would be a real nice
feature. The only way I can play jpeg images is on my computer, or
convert them to video and write to a DVD for viewing on TV.
