I noticed a several years ago that some disks are having very bad quality
and can become unreadable in a few month to a few years. One of the
examples - Verbatim Metal AZO, my PC refused to accept these disks couple
years later after they have been written. Take a look if you're using the
right disk types, some of them are librarian, means will be working for
years, some of them can be cheap and will work from months to weeks. As a
rule nobody in the store can explain this difference because they are not
aware of it. Try to find some kind of detailed description of the different
media types on the Internet. I can't help you here because I got a very nice
manual, but it's in the language that you cant' read, sorry.
Just wanted to let you know that maybe the player is OK, the disks are
wrong. Don't idealize the disks, they are so different!
