I think it a little strange to see the same fault on all of the discs. I
would be more inclined to suspect the player. What model/make is it?

I would try and check out the discs on another machine first before
trying to exchange them. If they play OK then it would seem that your
machine doesn't like something on the discs.

I suppose that it's not impossible to get a set of badly mastered discs
but I don't recall seeing any other posts like yours regarding such a
problem with the Thunderbirds set.
