 Many PC users don't like QT(it's not totally free and screws with some PC
 programs)  but PC users often install the totally free "QuickTime
 Alternative" from http://www.free-codecs.com/ This doesn't seem to cause any
 problems and works really well.  I also own a MAC G4 with the full QT
 install. I have no problems swapping files to my PC with QTA
