I am trying to find a software product that I saw a few years ago and
can't find it now. Its basically a software video deck. You load a
video file into the software, then you have all the same control you
would have if you had a higher end video deck including handling of
SMPTE and other sync issues as well as jogging, etc.. I think it even
had support for RS-422 if I recall. Anyway, i can't remember the name
of it and Google is coming up with nothing. Anyone know of anything
like this? My main purpose is for while film scoring I'd like to run
this program on another computer and have it synced up with my main
music PC. I'd only use the other PC for monitoring video in sync with
my music workstation.
