Couple of points: :)
Although my Amiga can access DVD data disks, it can't play movie DVDs.
The other thing is, I don't want to watch the pesky things on a computer I
want to watch them from the depths of my sofa, on my TV, ideally quietely
and respectfully sipping a cup of hot tea. :)
But yeah, I could try them on a pc, but the result is not really going to
change my quandry.
Update, I went in to the shop today, spoke to Emily(!) and they are being
very pleasant about it, and are trying to source a replacement. My fingers
are crossed.
