That is definitely not *my* intent - if so, I would apologize. BTW, I'm
the one who wondered, not the one who asked about being a proponent.
And my speculation was serious, not meant to be a joke or an insult to
Joe - although it's hard to bring up such an idea without possible side
effects...
Have you ever heard David Sedaris? He's a comedian, very funny (IMHO),
but he also talks about real stuff in his life. He is a self-confessed
victim of Juvenile Tourette Syndrome (as well as OCD), and he is very
informative to those of us who might need to be jolted out of a
prejudiced reaction. You might say he puts a human or a sympathetic
face on these things.
