Most DVD players with 24bit/96hz (DVD-A or DVD-V) or 24bit/192 Hz
capacity (in DVD-A only) downsample to 16bit/44.1hz through the optical
and co-axial outputs. You can get the high rez audio only through their
analog connections.
Anyone knows of a universal DVD player that doesn't downsample through
the digital audio connections? I want to connect it to an outboard DAC.
Thanks, Simonel
