Don't be so eager to rush to judgement. You have no credibility

According to that diagram the active material is sandwiched between
two polycarbonate discs. The OP claimed that the active layer was on
top, not in the middle. I claimed it was on the bottom.
We were both wrong. I just got done breaking a Fuji MIJ disc, and it
is composed of two essentially identical thickness polycarbonate with
the active material sandwiched in the middle, as shown in the diagram.
Therefore the OP's claim that the active material is on the top is
WRONG.
