Thanks for the tip re: the XH-A1. For some reason I thought the "new"
Canon HD cameras were much more expensive. I will need to do some more
research on the XH-A1. I did notice that it does not have a true
progressive scan but has 24F and 30F frame rates that are interlaced
but "emulate" the progressive look.

Does anyone have any first hand familarity with this camera and any
comments they'd like to share?
