For some reason almost all the UK Mainland stores insist on using couriers
for deliveries to Northern Ireland and other outlying areas even when Royal
Mail is way cheaper.
I remember trying to order a memory card from one site and being told it was
an extra 20 for NI delivery above and beyond the usual cost.
Some suppliers do have sensible alternatives and offer multiple delivery
options but sadly this sort of efficiency seems to be in the minority rather
than the norm.
