My former partner in my PD150 was an idiot who insisted on using the
camera to do camera to camera tape editing.
When the camera started dropping, I got the heads replaced. He refused
to pay for the damage he caused and we severed our relationship. (He
now has caused another camera to start dropping.) (!)
This is the record of the hours on the camera on Dec. 24,
2005...before it was overhauled.
201 x 10 operation
75 x 10 drum run
61 x 10 tape
429 x 10 threading
The camera was overhauled last spring. I checked the hours a few days
ago:
The hours now are:
226 x 10 operation
146 x 10 drum run
43 x 10 tape
262 x 10 threading
Both hours records are correct. I have put only a few hours on the
camera since last spring.
What could explain this? A couple weeks ago, we were in a minor
accident and the camera got a good bump. Seems to work fine.
