big CRTs cost a fortune to transport - that's one of a number of reasons why
they are becoming rarer.
plus a crt normally wont actually display all the detail of a 1080i image -
of the crts on sale in the states only the sony came close and that managed
it with a dimmer picture than normal.
just because they accept the image, doesnt mean they are showing all the
detail.
