It isn't that easy. The camera wold be swaying all over the place, and
never able to get a steady, useable shot.

I've seen those cabled rigs. They use massive servo motors on three or
more points, and need to maintain a precise amount of tension on all the
cables simultaneously.

And, they take many hours, if not days, to set up and tweak.
