I cannot solve your problem, but I think I know what the problem is:
You did your "dubbing" in the camcorder with it set for 12-bit audio.
Virtually no DV capture and editing software can handle 12-bit audio.
16-bit audio is the default standard. In the future, ALWAYS set the
camcorder for 16-bit audio and do your "dubbing" in the computer. Or
determin how to get your capture/editing software to recognize and work
with 12-bit audio.
