Maybe not the best place to ask but I figured somebody here might
know. So fairly recently I got a 16x9 JVC i'Art CRT (AV-30W475) and
I've been pretty happy with it overall, but I've noticed when watching
2.35:1 films, the picture still appears very slightly stretched, as
though the letterbox bars need to "come down" just a hair more.
Doesn't seem to occur with 1.85:1 films.
Does this sound like an issue with the TV itself, or a fault of my
player, an admittedly cheap Philips DVD-622?
Thanks for any suggestions.
