I use a 30g MP3 player and ripped about 33 classical cd's onto it
using the Creative software that came with it. However that software
rips -- I still have 27 g left on the player. I'm a classical
musician, and I can assure you the quality is fabulous -- on the Zen
Vision M, anyway. Of course I am not using the cheap earbuds that came
with it, but some noise cancelling headphones. Makes a huge difference
in quality. Seriously coming through the phones it sounds just as good
as if I popped the CD into a CD player.

signing up for a membership? Every once & awhile I hear a song I want
but not enough to sign up for a monthly membership fee.
