The Comedy Spot in Arlington, VA is hosting a contest series called
"Serial Survivor" (sponsored by the comedy troupe DCUP). Contestants
submit a 5-minute short video cliffhanger by March 26th. The first
screening will be held April 1st at 7:30pm, where the audience will
vote for one of the serials to be eliminated. The following month the
remaining contestants will submit their second chapter, and another
serial will be eliminated. The series is 5 episodes long, and at the
5th screening there will be only two serials left, both presenting
their final chapter of the series. Winners will get a cash prize, and
inclusion on the Serial Survivor DVD (with percentage of sales).
