Can you advise me please? I am contemplating a move from the US to
the UK. I have a DVD and a collection of disks and two VCRs (1 NTSC
and one Multistandard) with a collection of tapes.
Now I do understand that the RF signal in NTSC Countries is an NTSC
signal. I.e., when I connect a cable into the antenna input on a TV
set it must conform to the correct frequencies and modulation.
However, what about that yellow RCA phono jack? If I plug my NTSC kit
into a UK pal TV set using the raw audio and video links, with the
video signal work? If not, I will have to ship an NTSC TV, and live
with the fact that eventually my kit will become useless. When a
component fails it will have to be replaced with a PAL unit.
Thanks for helping
Adrian
