That's an interesting angle. Isn't the customer essentially having his
own archive copy made of music he is perfectly entitled to, by a proxy?
You know, we keep recycling these arguments about the law-- as I've
said before, I would be very interested in hearing of any actual court
case that reached judgment (none of this "out of court settlement"
crap). I am very skeptical that any case similar to that described
below ever resulted in a guilty verdict-- but that's just my intuition.
