Nice to see you look at the world with blinders on... did you notice that The
Departed is also coming out on HD-DVD and is also in the top 100. Several past
HD-DVD's have broken into the top 100. I would like to point out that the
Blu-Ray version is ahead of the HD-DVD version which is a first... the HD-DVD
versions have always done better with like films before. Another reason for
Blu-Ray's strong showing right now is that movies are actually coming out on
Blu-Ray every week and HD-DVD has had jack $hit lately. I myself have bought
about six Blu-Rays in the past three weeks and just one HD-DVD. HD-DVD will
get buried if they don't start pushing out some release dates/releases. If
this happens we then get the great prospect of a format controlled by
Sony...YAY!!!
