This type of device will work well when radio is tuned to a blank or
weak station. The unit I have offers a limited choice of frequencies and
where I live I can locate a mutually compatible working frequency, but
as with WebMaster, this condition doesn't hold true as I drive. It's
possible a better transmitting unit with more choice of frequencies and
stronger transmit signal might perform better but the main problem seems
to be in the US, if near a major city, there are very few spots on the
dial that are blank. Perhaps these things might work well when well away
from populated areas but a safer bet is to seek an alternate method.
An auto radio with a front panel line in would be ideal.
