Dunno, but I've got plenty of self-destructing DVDRs.
OTOH, I've got a 7-inch reel of audio "tape" where the
substrate is paper (rather than any kind of plastic.)
~50 years old and better than some of the more
conventional acetate, etc. 1/4-inch reel-to-reel tape
I've got. The paper tape might burn better than any
of the plastic variety, but I'm not going to try it.
