Most hard drive cameras use MPEG2, and therefore marginally not as good
as DV.
HOWEVER, if you record in DV25 format then of course it is the SAME
quality. One way to do this is with a FireStore-4 hard drive.

Depends on the camera, but it really does not matter to the editor.
