 Easiest thing is probably to use DVD-R which would be a better option if you
 planning to keep them.
 If you stick with -RW you could either pause between tapes or possibly look
 for a different recording mode eg I believe Philips does it by pressing
 record button longer causing recording to append rather the overwrite.
