Get version 1.70 beta2, it comes with updated encoders. Default encoder is Lame. Set
your encoding parameters and check other settings for file location, tagging, file name,
etc.
From drop-down menu: [Convert]->[Re-encode Compressed Audio File(s)]

This can be done in WinAmp too. Set output plug-in to Nulsoft Disk Writer and configure
it to encode to MPEG Layer3, your choice of bitrate, etc, etc, use 44,100 Hz sampling
rate. Remember to change output plug-in back to Wave/DirectSound when done.
