There being no legal reaon to prohibit it, why would anyone 
think "he should not have done it"?  It is not even an issue. 
 
Have you looked up the legal definition of "scenes a faire" 
as Ptravel suggested?  Your arguments indicate that you 
are unfamiliar of the concept.
