Thanks for taking the time to write. Unfortunetly, CDEx will convert a
compressed file into a WAV file whereas I wanted to convert a
compressed file to another format of compressed file e.g. APE to MP3.
As`for WinAmp, although I was able to get it to recognize APE files by
following your instructions, I could find no commands to convert
files.
