I initially thought that I would just put it on the boat with a 100 spindle
of DVD movies, etc. & always have it available.
However, I have found a LOT of uses for it that has caused me to use it
daily:
- it sits next to my PC, great for quality checking that DVD you just burned
on the PC
- easily sits on top of a DVR box connected via A/V cable IN - used to
monitor & then test
DVDs burned from camcorder to DVR. The DVR & this unit take up a very small
space.
It would be nice if it had a DV out and a better quality screen.
Do not know anything about Insignia's engineering, but I'm happy so far:-)
