Standard DVD resolution 720 x 480. The specs you give for the coby screen
are not even close to native DVD resolution. The screen may look "good" to
you, but it in both non-standard and a lower resolution than DVD requires.
I am supposing you do not have much else to compare it to.
FWIW, Coby products are usually of very inferior build quality and utilize
parts that do not meet the requirements of other manufacturers, hence the
cheap prices.
I am happy that you like your unit...but those that care about getting the
standard DVD quality want more than that unit can deliver.
