Reminds me of all the dvd stores I visited in New Zealand when I was there
on holidays last year. They do exactly exactly the same thing there. All the
dvds and cd are opened and the discs are stored in plastic/cardboard sleves
behind the counter. But at least you get to inspect the dvds/cds before you
buy them and if there screatched don't buy it or go through all the copies
till you find a good clean disc.

I wish they would. At least most of the stores here in Australia do. But I
still don't understand JB Hifi's priciple of double wrapping dvd's so tight
the case comes out all wrinkled and looks second hand anyway.
