What's considered "cheap"? There are motherboards that support SATA RAID,
not to mention dedicated RAID controller cards.

My last company spent about $5k on a hefty box that contained, among other
things, a 6 disk RAID. That should have been plenty of hardware to keep up
with something like this. That was a year ago. The same box today should
be even cheaper.

And if you hate cross posts so much why don't you filter them out, or at
least strip the 'excess' groups from your posts? Otherwise, you're every
bit the cross posting retard that you hate so much.
