Keep your DL dir/drv seperate from your storage drives, preferably on
different channels, but at least different disks. Files transfer is machine
intensive, so if you transfer to a different partition, it is still the same
drv and everything has to wiat for the transfer to occur.. I transfer files
all the time, and it has very little effect on my DLs.

Usually, I drop ;my completes out of my DL dir to another folder, on that
drive (easy for the machine, as it only has to reindex, not move the file.
I then transfer files to other drives from that DONE folder.
