I just got Sony Vegas Platinum + DVD. I want to get some version of
ACID for audio editing to construct soundtrack, goal is for a 90
minute feature film, indie production. My question is which version
of ACID do I need in order to do Dolby 5.1 surround-- I know ACID
Music Studio does not, ACID Pro does, but I also thought Vegas does
dolby internally making Acid Pro unncessary? If I buy ACID Music
Studio and I have Vegas, would I be able to create Dolby 5.1 audo for
the soundtrack, or should I pay the extra and get ACID Pro? I can get
ACID Music Studio for $45, ACID Pro for $188 so the cost is not a huge
factor if the Pro version is what I need.
