Thanks for all the feedback. Sadly there is little I can do with
manipulating the files. The company that installed the security
system has went bankrupt and fell off the face of the earth. On the
security server all I see is .dat files and another type of file that
I have bever heard of and is useless by itself. I think the video
only works on the system it is on (no wonder they went out of
business). If I pulled these files off I wouldn't know what to do
with them - .dat files are generic data files as far as I know. I was
hoping for some type of video format to work with.
