Yes. But it's still perfectly usable.

If you burned as a "data CD" (or "MP3 CD") then it will only work on
devices that advertise MP3 compatibility, and on computers.

To burn a CD that will play on standard CD players, you need to burn an
"audio CD". This will, however, limit you to about 80 minutes of
recording time rather than 700MB.
