That's difficult to say, given that the GZ-HD7 will not ship until
next month, but something to consider in the meantime is that the
HDR-FX7 is a standard HDV-format camcorder that almost every editing
package in the world supports but the GZ-HD7, while it also records
MPEG-2 Transport Streams, doesn't conform to any particular format.
JVC went their own way on this model. That *might* be a consideration
for you.
Also, since you seem to be in Italy, if you get the Sony, be sure to
get the HDR-FX7E 50 Hz model, and not the HDR-FX7 60 Hz model, unless
you really want the 60 Hz model for some reason, that is.

Here in the U.S., the GZ-HD7 lists for $1799.95 but will sell for
$1699.95 when it becomes available. For comparison, here in New York,
B&H Photo-Video offers the U.S. model HDR-FX7 for $2795 and the
European model HDR-FX7E for $2995.

You're welcome. Hope this helps.
