I doubt that they do. At work, we use Memorex printable CD-Rs with
excellent results from an Epson R260 printer. I doubt --although I admit
it may be true-- that Memorex DVDs would have a much poorer printing
surface.

(That Epson printer is so nice I bought one to use at home. So far, I've
only printed on Verbatim DVDs, though. Same great results as at work.)

Sorry I don't have experience to help with your particular printer.
I bought a Canon years ago that was such a horrible piece of junk I never
intend to touch anything made by Canon again. This Canon IP4300 gets good
reviews on Amazon, although no one mentions Memorex DVDs by name. But
there is one reviewer that says he gets washed-out prints when he prints
from Adobe Illustrator--could that be related to the problem here?
