Dalsa have offered me free use of the Origin for a short but there are
a lot of ancillary costs and obstacles. Again this is too much camera
for the project.

It's a broadcaster - discovery.ca and yes I've contacted them. It's
hard to get past the admin guys. I get the following response -
All video shall conform to SMPTE 274M, "1920 x 1080 Scanning and
Analog and Parallel Digital Interfaces for Multiple Picture Rates -
This is my dillema; I have 2 projects. One is a documentary and
requires lots of access to a camera at a moments notice. For this we
were going to purchase the JVC. Then a potential opportunity to do a
science show came up which required the specific technical spec. I
thought perhaps we could upgrade our camera purchase to accomadate
both projects. Our budget doesn't really allow for anything over
$25,000.
