It's better not to place your quoted material after the signature
delimiter - some newsreaders automatically suppress the signature, as
seen above, or do other bad things to it, as seen on my computer.

The signature delimiter is (officially) these three characters (which I
put in quotation marks), "-- ", starting in column one of a new line.
That is hyphen hyphen space, to disambiguate.
