I agree with Richard about ??? not being a good subject line.
Most often you add your timeline to the "Render Queue" under composition.
Then you set up your render specs in the render queue window and hit render.
What comes out should look just like what you see in the composition window.
Are you sure your transparency and blending modes are set up correctly?
