Several trainloads of CH-DVD1600 recorders were seized by US Customs in
June 2006 over an MPEG patent royalty payment dispute with Philips (the
patent holder). It appears that they never recovered, as they initially
tried to keep selling just the players in the US and eventually dried up.
Cyberhome appears to still be active in Europe.
