They actually knew how to take pictures way back then in the stone age.
What you're referring to sounds like n-generation dupes. Worn ones, at
that. That's one thing DVD has brought--proper presentations of some silent
films. And even the PD discs look better than the PD VHS tapes we had been
getting.
