For Canada you can reclaim GST (the national tax) very easily via an Ottawa
Government supported scheme - the various Provincial taxes are, AFAIK,
not reclaimable.
As the USA does NOT have a federal tax like GST - I think you are left
in a similar position to the Canadian Provincial taxes!
