I've heard rumors of these people called "employees" who have access to
keys to unlock the cases, and will do so if asked. They'll even hand you
the game so you can look at the back! It's a miracle of modern
civilization.
Considering the majority of information on the game is one the back, such
as descriptions, screenshots, system requirements, reviews, etc., it's not
unreasonable to assume that the purchaser is going to look at the back for
additional info, rating info included. In fact, when I worked retail at a
place selling video games, I never saw a customer who *didn't* look at the
back of a game box they were purchasing.
